Welcome to Van Stockum's Veilingen
Van Stockum's Veilingen B.V., established in 1833, is one of the oldest Dutch auction houses, and renowned for its specialized sales of books, prints, antiques, militaria and coins.
With a background in valuation and appraisal we are well equipped to advise you in the case of selling all categories of antiques, including furniture, paintings, jewellery, oriental art, militaria as well as books and prints. Naturally we are also well placed to act as an agent in the sale of an estate.
Illustrated catalogues are produced for every sale to provide information on and estimations of the lots.
By virtue of our enduring presence, myriad connections and professional vigour we are eminently suited to achieve the highest possible results. Should you consider selling items from one of the aforementioned categories, please feel free to contact one of our experts.
Since February 1st, 2016 all auction from Van Stockum's Veilingen will be held in and organized in co-production with the Venduehuis der Notarissen te 's-Gravenhage, Nobelstraat 5 in The Hague (Den Haag).
Van Stockum’s Veilingen auctions seven to eight times a year. These auctions are accessable to anyone. Accordingly we welcome any interested party to attend (one of) the viewing days which are held on the weekend before the auction. When the items for sale are on view, it is possible for a prospective buyer, seller and even mere enthusiasts to personally appraise the object(s) of choice or just take a look in a pleasant ambience. Our experts are always present to help, and we also provide a few catalogues you may wish to consult.
These richly illustrated catalogues are available in print three weeks before each auction. As a service to our international clientele a selection of our regular catalogues can be obtained in English. In addition to this, the entire content of the latest catalogue(s) will be accessible via the internet.
